The development of the supercomputer is intended  to support Bulgarian scientists and better equip them for the work they do in their field, as well as to attract investors from the Bulgarian industrial business, Georgi Robev, Executive Director of the Strategic Centre for Artificial Intelligence said in the BNT show „Oshte ot Denya“ (More form the day).

The machine is one of a total of 5 in Eastern Europe, which will be connected and common tasks will be performed. It is a European initiative, Robev noted, „but we treat our supercomputer as Bulgarian.“

The supercomputer is a high-performance system complex machines that have the task of transferring basic science to the applicable industry, the specialist explained. Supercomputers are the foundation of the transformation from the analog to the future digital world. Therefore, the ambition of the Bulgarian companies covered by this project is to engage more scientists and specialists to attract more interested investors to support the Bulgarian industry, Robev concluded.
