EU is preparing new laws on artificial intelligence

The EC has proposed new rules for artificial intelligence. For the first time, there will be a legislative framework for the use and development of this type of technology. The goal set by Brussels is to make Europe a world centre of artificial intelligence. There is already a programme that answers calls and recognizes the symptoms of a heart attack faster than the operator who answers the phone. Healthcare is just one of the areas where artificial intelligence-based technologies are gaining ground. Its applications are widespread in online shopping, mobile communications, translation and speech-to-text.
