Is climate neutrality achievable in Europe by 2050?

The EP approved the climate law by a large majority. It makes the political commitment of the 2050 Climate Neutrality Pact a binding obligation for the Member States.

Scientific data show that polluted air remains the biggest threat to the health of the Europeans. It causes the deaths of more than 400,000 people a year, with 17% of all lung cancer cases and 12% of heart attacks related to fine dust levels.
